Dr. Riegelhaupt grew up in New York City. She graduated from Hunter College High School, and received her B.A. from Barnard College. She received her M.D. from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics and fellowship in adolescent medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Riegelhaupt is Board Certified and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College where she is a preceptor for their Primary Care Course.

Dr. Riegelhaupt is married and has two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys reading, travel, and visiting museums. She has been selected as one of (201) Family Magazine’s Top Doctors for several years.
