Dr. Steinel was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Biology, received her M.D. from New York University School of Medicine, and completed her residency in pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Dr. Steinel is Board Certified and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to joining North Jersey Pediatrics, Dr. Steinel worked as hospital-based pediatrician at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

NJ. Dr. Steinel enjoys spending time with her family and visiting the Jersey Shore. She has been named a New Jersey Family’s “Favorite Kids’ Doc”.
